They say that once the crochet bee stings you, you fall in love with crocheting forever. This little cheeky bee caught me on a sunny day – one of my sons was dozing peacefully in his stroller, the other was still snuggled up inside my belly, and there, by the banks of a quiet stream, I held a crochet hook in my hand for the very first time. From those very first stitches, I began making little amigurumi figures for the people I love – until the sight of a beautiful crocheted bag led me in an entirely new direction and I discovered the high-quality Splendid yarns for myself.

Ever since then, every stitch and every row has carried a little story within it. HäkelBiene was born from this love: high-quality yarns, hand-crocheted bags, and the deep belief that the most beautiful things are those we create with our own hands.
